PDM-15 .223 Wylde and .350 Legend Combo.

At P & D Mfg we’re proud to be offering this great combo of rifles for range shooting, hunting and self-defense.  Both uppers are test fired on the included lower to assure they load, fire and eject properly and the bolt stays open after last round. We have been building AR platform rifles for eight years and have quality checked each one and they have always performed flawlessly.

There are a lot of debates about which rifle to buy that uses a hard hitting but relatively low-recoil rounds such as the .223  or 350 Legend. With this combo you can have both!

Most gun people know the history of the .223 Remington and that it, like so many of our popular cartridges, started life in the military. Because the military switched to metric designations sometime in the 1950s, this little .22-cal. cartridge was later called the 5.56x45 mm NATO.

As for the 350 Legend, Winchester’s legendary tradition of innovation continues with the 350 Legend, the fastest straight-walled hunting cartridge in the world. Built with hunters and sport shooters in mind, 350 Legend is versatile on the range and in the woods and a great choice for those living in states that require straight walled cartridges for hunting.

The 350 Legend cartridge is engineered for deer hunters to deliver massive downrange energy transfer with improved penetration from a modern straight-walled cartridge. The oversized impact diameter of the bullet offers bigger impact trauma for larger wound cavities and faster knockdown similar-sized game. It is also popular for self-defense purposes due to its effectiveness and reduced risk of over-penetration.

Like to hunt in the winter or just look good at the range? This Cerakoted Storm Trooper White combo will fit the bill. Camouflaged in the snow while taking coyotes with the .223 or deer with the 350 Legend can’t be beat. Just pop two pins, switch uppers and magazines and you’re good to go (might even impress Darth Vader since his Storm Troopers can’t seem to hit anything with their blasters!).

What is a .223 Wylde barrel? .223 Wylde is a chamber dimension, developed by gunsmith Bill Wylde of Greenup, Ill., which aimed to balance the differences between the 5.56mm NATO and .223 Remington chamber dimensions. This allows you to safely shoot .223  or 5.56 NATO cartridges from this barrel. A big plus which allows the owner to buy whichever round is least expensive at the moment.

Most people are particular about what optics they prefer whether it’s a hunting scope or a red dot so we only include one set of flip-up sights that can be used on either upper. This keeps your costs, as well as ours, down and you don’t get an optic you don’t want. Plus, you can take it to the range on the day you receive it and choose an optic later.

P & D Mfg is an FFL company. To purchase one of our rifles and pick it up here in Guthrie, OK, you must fill out an ATF Form 4473. That can be done at our location or prior to coming here.  And you  be able to pass an NICS background check. Or, we can ship it (at your cost) to an FFL dealer of your choice after that FFL dealer sends us a copy of their license.
